We are delighted to announce that we will be providing Coles Little Athletics Australia (LAA) with a solution for the seamless management of the Little Athletics community.

We will provide LAA and several of its Member Associations with a ground-breaking new sports management platform that will revolutionise the organisation’s operations and elevate member experience for their community.

The collaboration marks a significant moment as LAA become our first Australian client.

We were selected by LAA following an extensive tender process managed by their Single National Platform Advisory Group, which was led by Little Athletics Australia and included representation from every State & Territory Association. Multiple platform providers submitted tenders, with Sport:80 unanimously ranked the highest.

As part of our agreement with LAA, we have established Sport:80 Australia to support our commitment to delivering market-leading services tailored to the needs of the Australian sporting landscape.

Key to our selection was the unrivalled functionality of the Sport:80 Platform coupled with our attentive customer success and support services. The exciting work begins now after an agreement was reached with Little Athletics Australia CEO, Myles Foreman (pictured below, left), who recently made the trip from Melbourne to spend a week in Sheffield with the Sport:80 team.

“Establishing a single national sports management platform has been a long-held strategic objective for us at Little Athletics Australia,” said Myles.

“This agreement provides us with a unique opportunity to benefit from Sport:80’s global experience, the long-term development of their platform, and access to an extensive network of partners via the Sports Technology Alliance,” said Myles.

LAA’s platform will go live in early 2025, to manage the Australian Little Athletics Championships and integrate with participating State Associations. The solution will encompass a suite of cutting-edge features tailored to meet the diverse needs of their organisation. From membership and events management to the administration of states, territories, and clubs, the Sport:80 Platform is designed to streamline operations and foster seamless interactions within the Little Athletics community.

The first State Association to transition will be Little Athletics Queensland, who will use the Sport:80 Platform to manage registrations for their Ultimate Athletics program, with annual memberships and events to follow.

Two other Little Athletics State Associations will also follow in 2025, with each of these to be announced at a later date.

“We are delighted to have partnered with Little Athletics Australia”, said our Chief Operating Officer, Jonny Turner (pictured above, right).

“We have been looking for the right opportunity to begin our journey in Australia and the wider APAC region for some time, and this partnership fits perfectly.

“Myles, and the wider team at LAA, have been fantastic throughout our time getting to know one another, with both organisations being aligned on vision and mission.

“We are honoured to have been selected as their technology partner and look forward to delivering value and innovation across the Little Athletics community.
