In the next instalment of our 'Meet The Team' series, we introduce Josh Cowling, Customer Success Team Member at Sport:80.
Josh, tell us a bit about yourself!
"I’m originally from Reading, but I have gradually moved further North, first to the University of Nottingham, and then to Sheffield, where I am based currently.
"At the University of Nottingham, I enjoyed three years of study. I had a terrific time and have many happy memories from my time there, despite the impact of covid.
"I had the busiest summer of my life in 2022! Graduating from university, getting married, relocating to Sheffield, and starting employment at Sport:80. I’ve been here for seven months, and I am loving every minute of it."
What are some of your main duties at Sport:80?
"As part of the customer success team, my main responsibility is to ensure we maintain a high level of support to our clients, providing advice and offering relevant information to ensure our clients' needs are met.
"I also assist with maintaining the Sport:80 knowledge base. This entails making new support articles and ensuring that our articles are kept up to date. This aids us in providing our clients with the most up to date information about the many facets of our Platform.
"We have recently signed an exciting partnership with eLearning specialists etrainu who have provided us with the resources to produce digital learning content for our clients, and another component of my role will be to create this content for our clients, detailing how to efficiently use the Platform and any new features we release."
Tell us a bit about your interests!
"I have always loved playing sports, in particular football. I have grown up watching Arsenal with my Dad and I have supported them all my life. It’s a good year to be an Arsenal fan!
"I’m very much a people person, so I enjoy being around friends and meeting new people. I am a Christian and I love all that comes with that, going to church, spending time with friends, and sharing my faith. I am part of Emmanuel Church, and you will find me there every Sunday!
"It seems that my passion for pork pies has got out of hand this year after my father-in-law gave me a large pork pie for Christmas, word must have got around that I can’t go a day without one! That being said, I am a big foodie and love trying new dishes."
